A way to build an author website!
A hidden gem for authors everywhere popped up on the web. Tertulia is for authors wanting to create their own website without knowing the entire building process. They make it easy for you to create an author website.
You don’t sell your books on your site personally. They use links to set up buttons for people to go to their chosen retailer to buy them. You get a blog page, a contact page, and some other spaces like it. You can also create your own pages.
They do not have email or social media integration yet. They do have it on the horizon as well as the ability to sell your e-book and audiobook on there. They haven’t nailed down the paperback/hardback option yet. They are going to have Stripe for authors to set up for use if you wish to sell e-books or audiobooks.
A con that some authors in the romance genre love to do but can’t exactly do on this set up yet is art. Merchandise is a big seller for authors. Since they are already looking at changes to add to the website, I can hope this is next on the list.
I played around with it during the 14-day trial they give you to start building the website. The ease of use is amazing. I have so little ability to create a website from scratch. They made this a smooth transition for anyone who doesn’t have the skills for a full website build from scratch.
I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
