I don’t know how many of you have read the first book or this one. Normally I would wait until the wave of ‘Read this book!’ was over but this one is different for me. I read the first book after the second book was announced and didn’t know the following it had when I did. I am a mood reader and love to hunt down recommendations from groups I am in or even the recommendations my Goodreads/Kindle shows me.
I think what I like about this series is it gives me that Ruinous Love Trilogy feeling. Let’s be honest - due to social media and current reading trends we are all into masks and serial unalivers. The first book wasn’t so stalker like this one, but it was tastefully done.
We all want someone to stalk us for our safety and not be a total creep. The *care* it takes to do this is what we really want.
Without trying to ruin any part of the story I can say with confidence this book held up to book one and brought its own story to the table. The series isn’t one couple for the entire series but interlocked by family members or friends being the next story.
Quick question! Who noticed at the end we might have found out who is the main characters of the next book?
This authors writing is one of those I will follow. She can safely know she is on my list with Ali Hazelwood and Brynne Weaver for traditional publishing. Indie Authors might need another post.
I could not -wait- to use my Spotify credit on the audio the second it dropped. I'm right there with you— I will read anything by Hazelwood or Allen!
